3 tripods, 3 pendulums, 3 solenoids, 300cm high
The three pendulums are adjusted to swing in periods in the relationship 7:11:13 whereby the fastest pendulum makes one complete oscillation every 4 seconds. Each pendulum emits a loud click as it passes through the vertical from left to right, resulting in a slowly-changing rhythm which repeats after 4004 seconds (7 x 11 x 13 x 4)
This was my first exhibition.
In those high and far-off times there were no curators so I could get away with showing, suspended from the ceiling, a hang glider, (a rarity at that time,) and some clocks.
